Cicada Music & Arts Festival returns to Henley Island in St. Catharines on October 5th & 6th, featuring performances by some of Canada’s most acclaimed acts: Half Moon Run, Big Wreck, Serena Ryder, Death From Above 1979, Andy Shauf, The Blue Stones, Dear Rouge, Born Ruffians, Kevin Drew of Broken Social Scene, Lowest Of The Low and many more. Cicada is also excited to welcome Chicago’s Slow Pulp to the festival, who recently completed a tour with world-renowned indie bands Death Cab For Cutie and The Postal Service. The festival also features a dozen Niagara-based artists, performing over the two-day event.
Niagara’s biggest independent music festival marks its 5th year in 2024, with musical artists and activities for the entire family to enjoy. The festival is open to all ages, with discounted tickets for youth aged 11-17, and free entry for children 10 and under. Proceeds from the festival will go to Pathstone Mental Health, supporting initiatives across the Niagara Region.
In addition to two full days of live music and art, Cicada features a selection of local food vendors, a craft vendor marketplace and a festival bar featuring craft beer, cocktails, cider, wine and non-alcoholic options.
Full weekend and single day passes are available online, as well as in person at Mindbomb Records in Downtown St. Catharines. For more information on Cicada Music & Arts Festival, including a full performance schedule, visit www.cicadafestival.ca.
