Listen to Sarah McLachlan’s wonderful rendition of her songs such as Possession, I Will Remember You, and other terrific numbers. This Canadian singer and songwriter has won Juno and Grammy Awards for her songs, and you can watch her perform live at Fallsview Casino.
Queens of Country: Tribute to Female Legends
Date: November 13 and 15, 2017, Venue: Greg Frewin Theatre
A tribute to the female legends of country music, this show has performances on songs of icons such as:

- Patsy Cline
- Tammy Wynette
- Loretta Lynn and others
Hum along as you listen to chartbusting hits such as Stand by Your Man, Walkin’ after Midnight, Nine to Five and other songs. Amazing artistes Marie Bottrell, Pam Yorfido and Jackie Grainge will spearhead the tribute.
Winter Festival of Lights Opening Ceremonies
Date: November 18, 2017, Venue: Queen Victoria Park
This annual winter tradition will see one more dazzling season with brilliant displays of illumination in Niagara Falls. Queen Victoria Park will witness enthralling performances during the opening ceremonies. There will also be a spectacular display of fireworks over the falls. Admission is free. Stunning displays will decorate the 8 km stretch along the Niagara Parkway, the Fallsview tourist area, Dufferin Islands and other places.
St Catharines Events
FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre
Movies, documentaries, live entertainment, music recitals and other wonderful events are lined up for the month of November at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre. Delve into the life of American movie star Jayne Mansfield’s last two years in the documentary Mansfield 66/67, and enjoy classic rock favourites live during the Classic Albums Live: Rush- 2112 event. Listen to poetry by Shane Koyczan and enjoy Niagara Symphony Orchestra’s Masterworks 2 and 3. Watch several movies including Manifesto starring Cate Blanchett this November as well.
Elton John Concert

Taste the Season
Date: November weekends at the wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake
Award-winning wineries producing a range of excellent red wines, white wines and icewines are aplenty in Niagara-on-the-Lake. You can visit some of these fabulous wineries and taste the delightful wines during the Taste the Season event. A touring pass enables you to enjoy Niagara’s wine country during November 3-5, 10-12, 17-19, and 24-26 between 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Relish delicious food and wine pairings at the participating wineries with your pass.
Ghost Walks
Date: Every Friday and Saturday in November
If you like spooky stuff and scary tales, you will enjoy a Ghost Walks and Dark History tour of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The town witnessed several bloody battles during the War of 1812 which brought with it a trail of violence and destruction. Listen to chilling stories of one of Canada’s most haunted towns on this 90 minute tour.

Shaw Festival
While the peak season for plays at the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake is between April and October, November will see the staging of a Christmas inspired classic. Enjoy the spirit of the holiday season with one of Charles Dickens’ most popular plays A Christmas Carol. Watch this wonderful play at the Royal George Theatre with your family and friends.
Twenty Valley
Another popular area on Niagara’s wine country map is Twenty Valley. Home to boutique wineries and picturesque locales, Twenty Valley is all set to welcome the holiday season with Wrapped Up in the Valley. You can enjoy some wonderful wines during this fest that will be held on November 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26. Purchase a passport to enjoy superb food and wine pairings at the participating wineries.
