Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival

Beautiful time of year to visit this 19th century industrial hamlet

Every Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, Ball’s Falls puts on their famous Thanksgiving Festival, where the beautifully-preserved 19th century hamlet hosts exhibits by artists, artisans, farmers, and craftspeople from all over Canada.

Family-friendly entertainment abounds, with wildlife displays and folk musicians onstage throughout the weekend. Fall is a gorgeous time of year to visit the conservation area: plan to stay the whole day and hike along the Cataract Trail, or take your family through the Grist Mill and Blacksmith Shop.

We had a wonderful time at our family wedding in Balls Falls on Morhers Day weekend. The wedding venue was fabulous! We stayed at the Ramada hotel and they are under construction so would recommend...

It is insane that a park will charge almost $30 just to park. There are much better parks to visit that are 100% free.
