Every Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, Ball’s Falls puts on their famous Thanksgiving Festival, where the beautifully-preserved 19th century hamlet hosts exhibits by artists, artisans, farmers, and craftspeople from all over Canada.
Family-friendly entertainment abounds, with wildlife displays and folk musicians onstage throughout the weekend. Fall is a gorgeous time of year to visit the conservation area: plan to stay the whole day and hike along the Cataract Trail, or take your family through the Grist Mill and Blacksmith Shop.
