The Niagara River Recreational Trail was created in 1986, and offers 56 km of cycling along the Niagara Parkway by historical sites, wineries, restaurants, shops, fruit stands and more.
Paralleling the Niagara River, the trail extends from historic Fort Erie past the majestic Horseshoe Falls, to Fort George in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Lots of hiking, walking or bike riding. The trails go on for miles. There’s one that takes you down to the river gorge. We did not do it but there’s some great view from the top.
